A vintage 9ct gold solitaire ring set with a small oval facet cut blue topaz in a hand made four-prong mount on a plain band.

Description

A simple, well-proportioned solitaire - the oval blue topaz sits in a hand made four-prong mount, the stone held just clear of the band to allow light in from the sides. The topaz is a clear, even blue, facet cut at 6mm x 4.9mm. The band is plain and tapers slightly toward the back. Inside the band: the 9K mark for 9 carat gold. There is a very faint additional hallmark, largely rubbed and not legible.

Blue topaz is the birthstone for December.

Supplied in a complimentary brand new presentation gift box.
