A vintage 9ct gold ring with an elaborate filigree mount, set to the centre with a small Mexican gold eagle coin.

Description

The ring mount is worked in fine filigree detail, framing a small gold coin bearing an eagle to the centre and the legend 'Estados Unidos Mexicanos' [United Mexican States] around the outer edge. To the reverse, a head in profile with the inscription partially obscured by the setting. Inside the band, a Birmingham assay office hallmark in the international gold format mark, consistent with production in the 1980s.

Condition

Good order with minor signs of wear consistent with age. Professionally cleaned and polished, ready to wear or gift.
