Description
A vintage 9ct gold ring set with an oval facet cut natural amethyst approx 2.15 carats in size. The amethyst has some interesting natural inclusions of which you may be able to see some in the close up images. The gem is bezel set with a rope twist border and has a further scalloped outer band. The shoulders are bifurcated with decorative notches and the rest of the band is plain.
Inside the band it has a Birmingham hallmark with date letter for 1970. The makers mark is FKB Ltd.
A nice looking vintage example, lovely colour to the amethyst with the inclusions adding a silky look to the stone.
The ring will be supplied in a brand new presentation gift box at no extra charge.
