Description

A vintage 9ct gold ring set with garnets and natural diamonds in a cross halo design. The centre stone is an oval faceted garnet, surrounded by round cut garnets and natural diamonds arranged in a cross pattern. The stones are set in two tiers in a low cathedral mount, open beneath to allow light through the settings.

Inside the band the ring carries a London Assay Office import hallmark with date letter for 1980, and the maker's mark LM.

Supplied in a complimentary brand new presentation gift box.

Condition

Good order with very little sign of wear. There is a small witness mark in the band at the point where the hallmark was struck, as is common with hallmarked rings of this period. The stones are bright and the settings secure.
