Description
A 9ct gold ring with a very large oval facet cut natural smoky quartz gemstone. This ring is made to stand out and definitely won't go unnoticed. The colour is on the warm side for smoky quartz, almost heading towards a smoky citrine took. The gem is approx. 14 carats in size and nicely cut with the pavilion coming down to a single point. It is set in a basket mount with decorative details and the shoulders are bifurcated.
The band is of plain form with a decorative notch before the shoulders. Inside the band it has a hallmark from the Birmingham assay office with date letter for 1977. The makers mark is S&Co
The ring will be supplied in a brand new presentation gift box.
