A vintage 9ct gold ring set with three natural rubies and two diamonds in an Edwardian-style line setting, hallmarked London 1981.

Description

The ring is set with five stones in a line - three round rubies of approximately 2.5mm diameter alternating with two diamonds. The setting draws on Edwardian designs but handles it with restraint, the overall effect elegant rather than overly decorative. The band tapers from the shoulders to the back. The marks are struck to the interior of the band with a London assay office hallmark and date letter for 1981, alongside maker's mark BJ.

Ruby is the birthstone for July.

Condition

Particularly good for the period with very little wear.
