Description

A 9ct gold signet ring of the early 1970s with a flat top head set with a single diamond in a star setting. The star setting cuts fine radiating lines into the surface of the head around the stone, securing it flush with the face of the ring. The head measures 14.1mm x 11.7mm.

The shoulders carry textured decoration which has softened over the decades with normal wear. The shank tapers from 5.6mm at the shoulder to 3.35mm at the base, running as a plain band. Inside the band is a hallmark with date letter for 1973.

Condition

Period wear throughout. The textured detail to the shoulders shows rubbing and softening consistent with age and use, and the hallmark inside the band is partially rubbed. Professionally cleaned and polished, ready to wear or gift.
