Description

The Ecridor is one of Caran d'Ache's most enduring designs - introduced in the mid 20th century, defined by its hexagonal metal body, crisp geometric patterning, and restrained Art Deco character. This example is finished in silver tone throughout, the barrel engraved in the classic Ecridor hatched pattern.

The push button mechanism is branded around the button cap and operates with a smooth, confident action. The original pocket clip is present. The pen has been fitted with a brand new OEM Caran d'Ache Goliath medium blue refill.

The original presentation box and certificate of authenticity are included and present well; the box has some light marks in places consistent with storage.

Caran d'Ache has manufactured precision writing instruments in Geneva since 1915. The Ecridor range is valued for its engineering quality, balance in the hand, and a design language that has required little revision across several decades.

Condition

Good working order. Minimal signs of use to the pen. Push button mechanism smooth and positive. Fitted with a new OEM Goliath medium blue refill from Caran d'Ache. Original box included with light marks in places. Certificate present.
