A heavy vintage Egyptian 900 silver bracelet with five hinged panels depicting figures, the Sphinx and pyramids. Broad and richly detailed, it fastens with a slide clasp and lotus tab.

Description

Egyptian scenes run around this broad silver bracelet, with figures in profile, the Sphinx and pyramids picked out in relief. There is plenty to catch the eye, and the simple panel shapes keep the design clean. It is a bold piece, with the detail rewarding a closer look.

The five panels are joined by hinges so they follow the wrist. At just over 60g, the bracelet has a pleasing weight, and its 23.4mm width gives the scenes room to stand out. A lotus tab finishes the slide clasp.

The clasp tang bears an Egyptian mark for 900 grade silver, with a separate silver mark on each panel. The bracelet fits wrists up to approximately 18cm and is not adjustable.
