Description

A vintage sterling silver dish by Fara Co of New York.  The bowl consists of a round convex top and a collar pedestal base with open work detail.  It is clearly taking inspiration from Georg Jensen work of the period. It is stamped to the underside sterling and has the F Co mark for this maker.  Fara company was a small independent maker who worked in New York the 1960 to 1970 period.  
 
 

Condition

Good order with some light wear inside the bowl.
