Description
A vintage Nepalese hand made model of a big cat. It is set with red and black cabochons over the gold tone metal ground. It has coiled wire work to the face and the mouth is modelled with teeth. There is a surprising amount of work in it for such a piece. Mid 20th century in period and a charming item.
Condition
Quite a few losses of the cabochons, the dull red spots are resin which was used to glue the cabochons in place. Glue residue in a couple of spots where some cabochons have been re-stuck. Artisan made.
