Vintage Indian Silk Painting of a Maharaja on Horse & Servants, Framed & Glazed (Code 2774)

Description

A beautifully painted Indian scene of a Maharaja riding an horse with attendants on silk.  Sumptuous colours and richly embellished with gold which really catches the light.  Great attention to detail with finely painted lines.  The framing looks to be from the 90's, painting may be older.  Frame size 40.5 x 35.5cm

Condition

Painting in fine order, a few natural flaws in the silk. Frame with minor wear and a couple of knocks alng the bottom edge.
