Description

The brooch is from Joan Rivers' Maltese cross series - a bold, chunky form set with a faux turquoise central gem surrounded by faux topaz and amethyst rhinestones. To the reverse, a pin with safety roll-over catch and the Joan Rivers signature mark. It comes in the original black Joan Rivers soft pouch.

Joan Rivers launched her jewellery line in 1990 on QVC, becoming one of the channel's most successful sellers and building a devoted collector following. Her pieces are characterised by bold, theatrical design - drawing on her love of the grand couture jewels worn by Hollywood's golden age stars and translating that aesthetic into accessible costume pieces.
