A vintage 9ct gold diamond flower cluster ring with a raised central diamond, decorative divided shoulders, and a Sheffield hallmark dating to c.1977.

Description

The diamonds are set into a raised mount in the form of a flower, the central stone elevated above the surrounding cluster to give the head a three-dimensional quality. The shoulders are an unusual detail - the gold band carries a decorative dividing line running up to the stone setting, giving the ring a more considered profile than a plain band would allow. Inside the band there is a hallmark, indistinct but consistent with Sheffield 1977. The diamonds have been tested. Diamond is the birthstone for April.

Condition

Good order for period. One diamond is set slightly lower than the others in the mount - not visible to the naked eye and in no way affecting the appearance of the ring. Cleaned, polished and ready to wear or gift.
