Description

The Hibiscus pattern is one of Moorcroft's most enduring designs, introduced in the 1950s and produced across a range of forms. This baluster vase carries two large flower heads rendered in the characteristic tube-lined style, set against a sea green ground that deepens towards the base. The colouring is rich, with the crimson bloom sitting in contrast to the more complex tonal mix of the second flower. The original Moorcroft paper label to the base confirms period authenticity; impressed marks are present beneath it.

Very good order. Minimal wear. No restoration.
