A Royal Copenhagen figure of an adult penguin looking down at its chick, modelled with close attention to form and surface texture beneath a high gloss glaze. The base carries the Copenhagen marks in green together with model number 088. A well-observed piece from one of Scandinavia's most respected ceramic houses, whose animal figures have been collected for decades.
