A vintage Sheaffer Prelude 365 GT ballpoint pen with a mirror polished gunmetal finish and 23K gold plated trim. Its wide cigar shaped body is accompanied by the original red Sheaffer presentation case, outer card slip and booklet.

Description

This 1990s Sheaffer Prelude 365 combines a broad cigar shaped profile with a reflective gunmetal coloured body. The clip, centre band and tip have contrasting 23K gold electroplated trim, with the white Sheaffer dot set near the top of the clip.

Twisting the upper section extends and retracts the writing point. It is fitted with an original Sheaffer blue refill which is currently writing correctly.

The pen measures 130mm long, with a barrel approximately 12mm in diameter. Its bright polished finish shows very little evidence of use.

It comes with its original red Sheaffer hard presentation case, outer card slip and booklet.

Condition

Particularly good vintage condition with only very light surface wear. The twist mechanism operates correctly, and the original Sheaffer blue refill is currently writing.

The presentation case is in good exterior condition. There are some pale yellow age related patches to the cream flocked interior. The outer card slip and booklet are present.
