Description
A vintage sterling silver and enamel necklace. The necklace is of choker style and quite impressive and heavy. Each panel is connected by seven snake chain strands. The panels feature birds and foliage and are filled with blue enamel for contrast. There is a larger panel as the main feature and a split panel for the closure. The closure is of push pin type. The panels which connect to the push pin are stamped 925 and the metal also tests as sterling silver. There are no makers marks, however the necklace would be of Indian origin and likely of 1970's to 1990's period.

Condition: Good order with very minor wear. Artisan made rather than a factory type piece. Slight overruns in the hand done enamel, nothing that would notice in use.
