Description

A well made sterling silver curb chain necklace manufactured by IBB, a well known British jewellery maker. The chain is formed from closely interlocking flat curb links, creating a flexible design with a bright polished finish.

The clasp terminal is marked IBB together with the international sterling silver convention mark, while the opposite terminal carries a 925 stamp. These marks date the chain to the 1980s, when the international hallmarking convention was increasingly adopted alongside traditional British standards.

Measuring 50 cm (20 inches), the chain is a practical length for everyday wear and can be worn on its own or paired with a favourite pendant.
