Description

A very pretty mid century silver cigarette case.  It carries over some of the Art Deco styling with engine turning.  In addition it has a large floral display across the front panel.  It has a spring action button to open and the case is sprung so it opens up automatically.  The interior is gilded and has a full hallmark on the left for Birmingham 1955.  It is further stamped 'made in England' and has the maker's initials which appears to be HCD.  To the cigarette retention spring it is also marked Hill Shenstone at either end.
