Sterling Silver Golf Divot Tool - Millennium Hallmark Birmingham 2000 - C2684
Summary
A sterling silver golf divot tool hallmarked Birmingham 2000.
Description
Made from good weight 2mm sectioned silver, this is a divot tool that earns its place in a golf bag rather than a drawer. The Birmingham assay office struck it with the Millennium hallmarks in the year 2000, and the maker's mark is for Harrison Brothers - a Birmingham silversmithing house with a long history of producing quality sporting accessories.
A pierced aperture to the top allows it to be attached to a bag, lanyard, or keyring. The circular panel to the face is left plain, intended for an engraved initial or monogram - which makes this as practical a personalisation opportunity.
Twenty-five years on from the Millennium, pieces like this are starting to find their moment as collectibles in their own right.
Condition
Good order with very light surface wear consistent with age.
