Description
A vintage sterling silver locket pendant necklace. The locket is quite a large size and has a fancy decorative floral border. The front of the locket has a textured surface and is engraved with flowers. This opens to reveal two reserves for photos or mementos, it has acrylic covers and both the retaining rings are in place. The apertures are approx. 2.8cm x 2.4cm.
The back of the locket has a safety roll over catch pin so it could also be used as a brooch. The back of the locket has a hallmark from the Birmingham assay office, the date letter is illegible but the style is typical of the 1950's or 60's.
It comes with a long multi link chain in sterling silver, the chain has a standard spring ring closure marked sterling.
