Description

A vintage sterling silver multi strand bracelet with a light, fluid construction. The six strands are made up of repeating units: three parallel polished elongated bar links sit between two outer bead chains, all gathered at regular intervals into small nodal points along the length of the bracelet. Both ends are gathered into tapered torpedo-shaped silver terminals from which the lobster clasp is suspended.

The strands are individually articulated and drape freely around the wrist. The bracelet can be worn with all six strands lying flat and parallel, or twisted gently before fastening to create a tighter rope effect - the terminal and clasp allow either without adjustment.

The terminal and clasp are marked 925. The connecting ring carries a Birmingham import hallmark with the International Convention sterling silver mark.

Condition

Good vintage condition with light surface wear consistent with use. The strands retain good movement and fluidity, and the lobster clasp is working correctly.
