Description

This Tiffany & Co sterling silver circular box is from the 1837 collection and was made in Spain in 2001.

The box has the distinctive concave profile associated with this range, with a flat lid and curved side wall. The side is marked 925 T & Co 1837, while the underside is engraved © 2001 Tiffany & Co. 925 Spain.

The hinged lid opens to a plain silver interior and closes correctly. Its compact proportions suit use as a pill box or small trinket box.

The 1837 collection takes its name from the year Tiffany & Co was founded and uses enlarged hallmark style lettering as a principal design feature.

Condition

There are three dints to the lid and some wear and scratching to the underside. The hinge and closure are working correctly. The condition has been taken into account in the pricing.
