Description
An antique child’s christening charm bracelet. It is created from curb style links which are hollow and it has a large spring ring clasp typical of the very early 19th century. It has an acorn symbolising growth, a lamb and two coins. The coins are very interesting with one being a two annas dated 1941 from the East India Company with the young head of Queen Victoria to the reverse. The other is a South African 1941 3d with the head of George VI to the reverse.
The coins have a 100 year date gap and may have been important to the original owner. There are some extra loops to the chain which may have held other charms previously. The chain tests as sterling silver.
