Antique Royal Worcester China Persian Range Dolphin Handled Ivory Ware Vase - Code 1793

Description

A late 19th century Victorian period Royal Worcester vase.  It is produced in fine china and is from their Persian ware series, with these pieces being inspired by Islamic works of art.  The decorative moulding to the body is inspired by carved works and note the lovely dolphin style handles finished in real gold.  The body has finely painted leaf designs highlighted in more gilt.  The base has the Worcester mark to the underside with the date code for 1892.  A lovely example of this sought after series.

Condition

A very good example with very little wear or gilt rubbing for the age.
