We are pleased to present this Ancient Order of Foresters (AOF) Antique Sterling Silver Past Chief Ranger Jewel, a fine piece steeped in history and tradition. This exquisite jewel embodies the legacy of the AOF, a fraternal organization dedicated to benevolence and mutual support.
It has the original tricolour ribbon in green red and gold. The top bar has the stags head with horn and the AOF arms shield. The jewel is hallmarked for Birmingham 1912 and is one of the original George Tutill examples with the GT mark. It comes with a period Toye & Co box (Toye Kenning & Spencer). Perhaps most unusual and of interest to collectors is that it has not been engraved with the owners details to the back.
Condition
Generally very good for period with minor wear. Minor rubbing of gilt at high points. Ribbon with some wear and ageing. Box worn and aged.
