Description

Solitaire is part of the Isabelle Collection, a premium line within Charlie Bears designed by Isabelle Lee - one of the most respected names in the contemporary collectable bear world. Charlie Bears was founded in 2006 by Charlie and William Morris and rapidly established itself as a leading British bear brand, with the Isabelle Collection sitting at the top of their range: longer pile plush, more considered finishing, and production numbers kept deliberately small.

Solitaire is made in a soft, dense plush in a warm pink tone, paler and almost cream at the muzzle and belly. The head, arms, and legs are all fully jointed, giving the bear the classic poseable quality that collectors expect from a piece at this level. The face is hand-finished with a mauve-toned embroidered nose.

The scarf is a woven textile in dusty rose and amber tones with a dark thread running through it, edged with a fine overlock stitch. Down the front fall a column of small vintage-style buttons in mixed materials.

The bear carries its original Isabelle Collection swing tag (Reg. No. PA-11288(TH)), numbered No. 15 of 500, and retains the woven Isabelle Collection label stitched to the back. From a pet-free and smoke-free environment. Intended as a collector's item for adults, not suitable for children

Condition

Very good condition.  Accessories present - scarf, swing tag, and woven label. No damage, odour, or significant wear noted.
