Description

A substantial vintage Gucci Chiodo ring in sterling silver. The broad polished band rises into two opposing curved rectangular bars that cross over one another above the finger - the defining form of the Chiodo line. One face of the upper bar carries the engraved Gucci name, the only branded detail on an otherwise clean modernist design.

The inner band carries both a late 20th century London assay hallmark and an Italian silver hallmark with silversmiths mark. At 8.77 grams the construction is notably solid for a ring of this profile.

Supplied with the original Gucci brown GG monogram embossed presentation box and matching soft monogram pouch.

Condition

Good vintage condition with very light surface wear consistent with age and use. The engraved Gucci name is clear and well defined. Box and pouch show normal storage wear.
