Description

The pendant is substantial - 5.75mm thick, 3.5cm wide - with a rounded profile in polished silver and black enamel. The double G sits cleanly against the enamel ground.  The ball chain is 3.5mm, with a T-bar clasp that threads through the logo to close; the T-bar is engraved GUCCI to the front and marked to the reverse with Italian hallmarks and silversmith marks alongside the legend (R) Gucci Made in Italy.

The length and clasp arrangement give the piece genuine versatility: worn straight it sits as a choker at 39.5cm; doubled it wraps as a bracelet fitting up to 16.5cm. The chain is also long enough to wear as an avant-garde albert-style chain if preferred - an unconventional use that suits the piece's character.

Gucci produced sterling silver jewellery in Italy through the 1980s and 1990s, typically favouring bold logo-led forms and clean finishes.
