Description

A substantial sterling silver necklace constructed from individually articulated rectangular links arranged in three interlocking rows. The closely fitted brick pattern gives the necklace a flexible but solid feel - each link moves independently, so the piece drapes naturally rather than sitting as a rigid collar. At 9.5mm wide and 103 grams it has a presence on the chest that is immediately apparent.

The clasp is a broad flat lobster type, integrated neatly into the full width of the necklace. The end fitting is stamped 925 alongside an unusual maker's mark formed from the letters SC, a central pictorial device, and a further SC.

Condition

Good vintage condition with minor surface wear consistent with use. The articulated links move freely and the clasp operates correctly.
