A pretty sterling silver bangle set with a large oval amethyst cabochon in a plain bezel mount, hallmarked Birmingham 2009 with maker's mark CR struck to the inside of the bangle.

Description

A slim sterling silver bangle with an oval purple amethyst cabochon held in a plain bezel setting at the front. The silver band is approximately 5mm wide, giving the bangle a clean and restrained line, while the generous oval stone provides the focal point. The bangle fastens with a tension hook to one side of the amethyst mount, the other side is fixed.

The amethyst is a domed cabochon with deep purple colour and natural variation visible across the surface. The bangle is marked to the inside with the 925 sterling silver standard, the Birmingham hallmark for 2009 and the maker's mark CR.

Amethyst is the birthstone for February.

Condition

Good condition with light surface wear consistent with age and use. The amethyst cabochon is securely held in its bezel setting and the silver band is intact.
