A Tiffany & Co 1837 concave ring in sterling silver.
The outside of the band is marked with 925, T&CO and 1837, with the lettering set into the polished concave band. The inside of the ring is also marked Tiffany & Co and 925, and carries a London hallmark for 2009.
The 1837 detail refers to the year Tiffany & Co was founded. The 1837 collection is one of Tiffany’s most recognisable silver jewellery lines, noted for its clean polished finish, unpretentious band forms and bold lettering.
This example is the concave version of the ring, with a 7 mm wide band and a smooth rounded profile. The design is unisex, and this is a larger UK size Y, which is generally suitable for larger men’s hands and less commonly found than the smaller sizes in this style.
