Description
An early 20th century Czech brooch. It is a dragons eye design using a dragons breath opal which is a man made glass gem with foil and a moonstone like glass. It is formed in the shape of an eye with paste glass gems and the setting is brass and has a safety roll over catch. It likely dates to the 1930's. The gem in this example is much larger than usual and makes for a nice display.

Condition: Some of the foil backings to the glass gems starting to oxidise and going a bit green. There is a bit of a gap between two of the halo gems by the pin end. The brooch was made like this Otherwise just minor wear.
