Description

A vintage Britannia silver coin medal struck to commemorate the 900th anniversary of the foundation of Selby Abbey. The front features a crest with the date details and there is further text to the reverse of the coin. It comes in the original hard case with info slip giving the limited edition number. This is 1324 of a total of 1969 produced. The medal was produced by John Pinches. Britannia silver is a slightly higher grade than sterling being 95.8% silver.

Coin in good order with some natural toning. Box with some period wear.
