A sterling silver open work bangle with five carnelian cabochons, floral and leaf decoration, and a hinged arm.

Description

A large oval carnelian sits at the centre, flanked by four smaller round cabochons among the silver flowers and leaves. The open work setting follows the curve of the wrist, with a hinged arm that opens to make the bangle easier to put on and take off. It fits wrists up to 16.5cm.

A small Sheffield Assay Office hallmark is struck on the hinged arm. It has no date letter; the bangle is from the 1990s.

Condition

Very good vintage condition with very little sign of wear.
