Description

A vintage sterling silver bracelet with a broad mariner link construction. Each link is a flattened oval with a central bar dividing it into two open sections, the links alternating in orientation as they interlock along the length of the bracelet. The low profile of the links allows the bracelet to sit comfortably against the wrist despite its substantial weight.

The bracelet fastens with a lobster clasp connected through a plain ring to a shaped end terminal with horizontal ribbing at the clasp end. The terminal carries a London International Convention sterling silver hallmark together with the sponsor's mark XPB.

Condition

Very good vintage condition with light surface wear consistent with normal use. The links articulate freely with smooth movement between them and the lobster clasp is working correctly.
