Description

A vintage sterling silver pendant necklace by Tiffany & Co, designed by Paloma Picasso as part of her Graffiti collection.

The pendant takes the form of the stylised “Kiss”, an abstract crossed design with smooth polished surfaces. It is suspended from a fine trace chain which is directly connected to the pendant at two points, so the kiss sits straight when worn rather than turning on the chain.

The reverse of the pendant is marked:

The chain carries a T&Co 925 tag and a second tag signed Paloma Picasso, one at each side of the spring ring fastening.

Paloma Picasso began designing for Tiffany & Co in 1980, and her Graffiti designs developed from the expressive marks and symbols seen in urban street writing.

This example dates from the 1990s.

Good vintage condition with light age related surface wear.

The chain and spring ring fastening are working correctly.
